A concept illustration I did as a personal project. Medieval warriors travel down delapidated staircases into the fiery chasm to face whatever evil lies below. This piece was partly inspired by the Mines of Moria escape scene in Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring."
